Responsible Gambling
Gambling should stay entertainment. It is not a way to make money, and it should never be used to deal with stress or financial pressure. The tools below are always available in your account.
Tools you can use
- Deposit limits - cap what you can deposit per day, week or month. Decreases apply immediately; increases take effect after a cooling-off period.
- Loss limits - cap how much you can lose over a chosen period.
- Session limits and reality checks - get reminded how long you have been playing, or have a session ended automatically.
- Time-out - lock yourself out for a short, fixed period.
- Self-exclusion - close access for an extended period. See self-exclusion.
Signs worth taking seriously
- Playing for longer or for more than you intended.
- Chasing losses, or gambling to recover money.
- Borrowing money, or using money meant for something else.
- Hiding how much you play from people close to you.
- Feeling anxious, irritable or low when you are not playing.
